The InnerCity Mission is a ministry of Pastor Chris Oyahilome and Christ Embassy to children living in the "inner cities" of our world, to give them a hope and a future. It is a faith-based Non-Governmental Organization [NGO], dedicated to breaking the cycle of Child Poverty by giving deprived, excluded and vulnerable children access to Information, Food, Clean water, Sanitation facilities, Healthcare services, Shelter and Formal education. From inception, the InnerCity Mission through a network of missionaries, volunteers, and partners has provided food, clothing, medicine, education and accommodation to hundreds of children who live in especially difficult circumstances in several cities across Nigeria and in several other locations in Africa where our partners are located.

OUR VISION

To take the divine presence of God to the deprived, excluded and vulnerable children living in the "inner cities" of our world, to give them a hope and a future.

OUR MISSION

  • To bring the saving knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to children, and families in the inner cities, and ensure they receive the infilling of the Holy Spirit.
  • To communicate the divine life to the deprived, distressed and the less privileged children in the remote areas of our society and to educate, reform and rehabilitate such children with basic education or vocational training regardless of gender or ethnicity.
  • To break the cycle of Child Poverty and provide a foundation for sustainable development through the implementation of our programs and projects and Christian nurturing initiatives.
  • To establish homes that provide for the welfare, benefit and maintenance of these children and to provide them with the necessary and required care, love, affection and suitable health care.
  • To train them in sound Christian doctrine and equip them with the social skills necessary to promote the development of their spiritual and mental capacity so they can become and grow into responsible, self-reliant adults that will be of benefit to the society.
  • To promote public awareness on the plight of the deprived, distressed, orphaned, homeless, abandoned, dislocated children and the dire social consequence of the society's neglect in addressing their problems.
