Free Meals

We observed that a lot of our children had difficulty learning because more often than not, they come to School on an empty stomach; so we introduced free breakfast for all our students. In addition, knowing that most of them don't have good food to eat at home, we give them lunch after school before sending them back home. The free meals serve as an added incentive to "lure" the children to school and because breakfast is served early, they are also punctual to school.

Primary Health Care Services

In caring for a child, the issue of healthcare cannot be overlooked, children need to stay mentally alert and grow properly; we have a School Dispensary managed by a registered nurse. It provides basic primary healthcare services e.g. de-worming, wound dressing and management of common ailments like colds, diarrhea and simple malaria; more complicated cases are managed by referral to Government and partner hospitals.

The School Chapel

The School chapel is a time of fellowship for both the children and teachers alike; it is an avenue to learn more of God's word, the BLW ministry doctrine, inspirational songs and a time to lead the unsaved to Christ and get them filled in the Holy Ghost. The students are vitally involved in leading prayers, worship and all other aspects of the service, it is an opportunity for developing spiritual leadership.

Thanks to the support of our Partners, the Inner City Mission, through education, is building the foundation for sustainable social developments; the InnerCity Mission Academy is tuition free and students also receive free textbooks, writing materials, school uniforms and all other services all absolutely free.
