The Food Kitchen is the backbone of several programs in the InnerCity Mission; the Kitchen is responsible for the ICM Academy's Feeding Program, provides food for every outreach to children, supplies the content of the Food Boxes for the Family Support Program and provides raw food items for InnerCity Mission Hostel Kitchen. The Kitchen also provides finger-licking party treats for other special celebrations like our Annual Easter Fiesta, Children's Day Celebrations and lots more.

School Feeding Program

Presently only in the ICM Academy where we provide breakfast and lunch free for all students; this has considerable improved punctuality and attendance as well as overall academic performance. We hope to include a take-home dinner pack at the ICM Academy and extend the breakfast service to schools in other inner city communities.

The Mobile Kitchen

This is a newly introduced program born out of a need to minister to needy people without having to wait for an organized outreach program. Working with our Outreach Teams, all we do is load the "Mobile Kitchen" [a bus] with cooked food and take it to the streets. The response has been tremendous as we have been able to minister to so many.

Family Support Program

This program is a welfare program designed to help poor families with children stay together till they earn enough money to take care of themselves, this helps prevent the children from being forced to life on the street. Every week, a Food Box of raw food items such as Rice, Yam, Beans and other soup ingredients are made available to support them, they also receive career counseling and God's Word through active and monitored participation in the Christ Embassy Church recommended to them.
