About one-fifth of the world's population is afflicted by poverty-these people live on less than $1 a day and in a typical household, children and women often suffer more than men. Children living in poverty [are those who] experience deprivation of the material, spiritual and emotional resources needed to survive, develop and thrive, leaving them unable to enjoy their rights, achieve their full potential or participate as full and equal members of society.

With your support, the InnerCity Mission of Christ Embassy will continue to deliver a sustainable solution to the problem of urban and rural child poverty through the provision of resources such as food, clean water, sanitation and primary healthcare facilities and services, shelter, formal and informal education.

If your desire is to help needy children, then our Sponsor a Child program gives you the right opportunity to do so. For as low as N10,000 monthly, you can sponsor a child in the InnerCity Mission and make a difference in a child's future. Your donation can cover any of feeding, clothing, shelter, scholarship and care; but you can opt for the Child Support Package that covers the whole range. All these and more are necessary for a growing child to mature into a confident, healthy, responsible and productive adult.

The Children in the inner cities are part of the society, they are the future; and if they are not raised to be responsible, they become a burden to the society. The responsibility of giving these children and indeed our world a better future falls on our shoulders; a lot of these children await somebody to help them and you can be that person.

Remember, every child is your child!
